Dunkin’ Donuts today announced that Buffalo franchisee Tim Cloe has signed agreements to build four new Dunkin’ Donuts locations this year with Amherst-based Bevilacqua Development.
The new locations are slated to open in 2013 in Lockport, Hanover and Amherst (near UB North and on Transit Road) and will all feature the new modern Dunkin’ Donuts look introduced this year.
“Dunkin’ Donuts continues to expand in the Buffalo area in response to strong demand from our loyal and growing base of consumers,” Cloe said.
The announced openings will bring to 48 the number of Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in the greater Buffalo area, including nine new locations since the beginning of 2012.
“We are very excited to be working with the Cloe Group to bring the Dunkin’ Donuts brand to more people across Western New York,” said Jonathan Bevilacqua, president of Bevilacqua Development. “We are currently pursuing other locations, which will be a good fit to further expand the presence of Dunkin’ Donuts in this market.”
Dunkin’ Donuts is one of the leading baked goods and coffee chains in the world, selling 1.5 billion cups of hot and iced coffee and more than 2.4 billion donuts and Munchkins donut hole treats every year. Today, there are more than 7,000 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in 38 states across the U.S., plus the District of Columbia, and more than 3,000 international restaurants in 32 countries.
