Lloyd is headed to the ‘burbs.
Lloyd Taco Factory, which last year opened its first bricks-and-mortar locations in Buffalo, is the first restaurant and/or retailer who agreed to move into the Lymstone Lofts, a mixed-use development under construction by Bevilaqua Development.
The location, which is expected to open this summer, puts Lloyd just across the street from Williamsville South High School.
Lloyd began operation five years ago as one of Buffalo’s first food trucks. The company now has four food trucks.
Last year, Lloyd opened a restaurant on Hertel Avenue and another on Elmwood Avenue. Expansion plans for Hertel Avenue are being considered.
Between its various operations, Lloyd has more than 85 employees.
The $10 million Lymstone Lofts features a mix of market-rate apartments and first floor retail.
